Linac energy
HIE-ISOLDE energy
In the SC linac thanks to the short (2-gaps), independently-phased cavities, the maximum attainable energy is A/q dependent. For this reason the maximum energy for light beams can be much larger than the design energy of 10 MeV/u for A/q = 4.5 ions.

Maximum output energy as a function of A/q and cavity number for stage 1 and 2.

Maximum output energy as a function of A/q and cavity number for stage 3.
